CaviCide is an EPA-registered, intermediate-level surface disinfectant and cleaner designed for hard, nonporous surfaces. Rebel Wax recommends it for disinfecting our vinyl wax pads, also commonly called wax mats, SMAs, and other compatible treatment-room surfaces.

Its clear formula helps protect the appearance and longevity of our vinyl products, especially lighter colors, without leaving behind colored residue. With a 3-minute surface-disinfection contact time, CaviCide also works significantly faster than disinfectants requiring a 10-minute wet contact time.

How to Disinfect Wax Pads, Wax Mats, and SMAs:

1. Remove visible wax, debris, and heavy soil from the surface.

2. Apply CaviCide according to the product-label directions, thoroughly wetting the surface.

3. Keep the surface visibly wet for the full 3-minute contact time.

4. Wipe with a clean disposable towel or allow the surface to air-dry, as directed on the label.

The 1-gallon size contains enough product to refill a 24 oz bottle more than five times, making it a convenient backbar option for busy waxers and studios.

Important Vinyl-Care Notice: Rebel Wax does not recommend using blue BARBICIDE or other colored disinfectant solutions on our vinyl wax pads, wax mats, or SMAs. To help preserve the color and longevity of your Rebel Wax vinyl products, use clear CaviCide according to its label directions. Never use a Magic Eraser on Rebel Wax vinyl.

Safety and Compliance: Always read and follow the complete product label and Safety Data Sheet before use. Wear appropriate protective gloves and eye protection, use in a well-ventilated area, avoid breathing spray mist, and avoid contact with the eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep away from heat and open flames, and keep out of reach of children.

CaviCide is EPA registered under EPA Registration No. 46781-6. Licensing and sanitation requirements vary by location, so always confirm current disinfectant requirements with your individual state licensing board.

We ship all our product using carriers UPS and USPS.  We offer different methods at checkout to give you the best value.  You can choose from ground to 2 day delivery service for most of the carriers we offer.

NOTE: If your orders contains "made to order" products such as mats, pads and SMAs your order will ship after they are created.

Please note: Waxing sticks are excluded from our free shipping promotion on orders over $500 due to their size and shipping weight. Shipping charges for waxing sticks will be calculated separately at checkout.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase in any way please reach out to our customer care team with the reason for the return or exchange, we want to make it better. If you received an item damaged, please include picture evidence of both the shipping box/container and product damage. A return label will be issued and sent to you via email. We will accept returns on any unused or unopened products within 30 days of the order being processed. Wax Pads, SMAs, Deluxe SMAs, and Lap Mats must be unused. Wax must be unused and unopened.
